All relevant, essential item features can be found directly on the product pages of the respective items in our online store. The ordered items may be subject to change due to technical issues.

The products may differ slightly, within reason, from the items shown on the Internet, in particular there may be color deviations. If you have any questions about a product, you can of course also contact our customer service at any time in writing or by telephone via /contact.

3. Conclusion of a contract between you and us

The presentation of the goods in our online store does not constitute a binding offer on our part. An order by you represents a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the ordered item(s). We will confirm the receipt of the order immediately by e-mail, which, however, does not yet lead to the conclusion of the contract. A contract is only concluded by our order confirmation in text form or tacitly by the execution of the order. We will declare acceptance either by sending an order confirmation or by executing the order within five working days from receipt of your order.

4. Payment processing

The payment is processed by the service provider Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Mollie processes the payment by means of the payment methods offered. Mollie may use the services of third party payment service providers for payment processing, for which special payment conditions may apply. This applies, among others, to the payment service providers PayPal and Klarna.

When paying by PayPal, you must register at www.paypal.com. The terms of use of paypal.com apply.

5. Reservation of the performance

If, exceptionally, a product you have ordered is permanently out of stock, we reserve the right not to accept your order.

6. Prices and delivery

Prices in our online store are gross prices including VAT. Shipping costs may be added to this.

You can find an overview of shipping costs and any existing delivery restrictions here. For orders via our online store, we deliver exclusively to Germany.

The delivery time of a product is displayed on the respective product page.

7. Information on warranty and guarantees

You are entitled to a statutory warranty right.

In addition to the statutory warranty claim, we grant a 5-year warranty. You can find the warranty conditions here.

8. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH, Rainstraße 6, 91560 Heilsbronn, e-mail: deinservice@ortlieb.com) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory. You can also fill out and submit the model withdrawal form or another clear declaration electronically on our returns page. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g. by e-mail) a confirmation of receipt of such revocation.

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of the revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of the withdrawal from this contract.

For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment.

We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that the goods have been returned, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us (ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH, Retourenabteilung, Rainstraße 6, 91560 Heilsbronn) immediately and in any case no later than within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. We will bear the costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to your handling the goods in a way that is not necessary for the inspection of the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.

9. Technical steps for the conclusion of the contract and correction options

If you click on the button "Add to shopping cart" on a product page, the product will be added to the shopping cart in the entered quantity and with the selected features. After the click you have the possibility to view the shopping cart or to continue shopping.

In the shopping cart, which you can also reach at any time by clicking on the shopping cart icon, you will see an overview of the items that are currently in the shopping cart.

In the shopping cart, you have the option to adjust the quantity of each item using the "Quantity" field. If you have changed the quantity, you have to click on the button "Update shopping cart" to apply the changes.

You can remove individual items from the cart using the "Remove item" button or remove all items using the "Empty cart" button.

The "Edit" button allows you to change the previously selected characteristics of the item (e.g. color or volume).

By clicking on the "Proceed to checkout" button, you will initiate the ordering process for the items that are in the shopping cart.

After clicking on the "Proceed to checkout" button, a new page loads where you can enter your shipping address. By default, the shipping address is also used as the billing address.

If you want a different billing address, you can enter it after clicking on the button "Use different billing address".

Below the address you can select the delivery method. Only available delivery methods will be displayed.

By clicking on the "Next" button you will be directed to the next step in the purchase process. 

On the left side you can select your preferred payment method.

On the right, you will see an overview of the items in your shopping cart, the price, any shipping costs, and the delivery or billing address you entered. Please check the information carefully. Here you have the last opportunity to make changes by clicking on the respective cogwheel symbol.

The button "Buy now" leads to the submission of an order. In order to use the button, you must agree to the privacy policyas well as the terms and conditionsand customer information.

After clicking the "Buy now" button, you will be redirected to the payment service provider Mollie to enter the data required for the selected payment method.

We will confirm receipt of your order immediately by e-mail.

10. Storage and accessibility of the terms of contract

The text of the contract (in particular the general terms and conditions as well as the cancellation policy with the model cancellation form) will be sent to you by e-mail. The contract text will not be stored by us.

11. Online-dispute resolution / complaint

If you have reason to complain, you can enter your complaint on the website for online dispute resolution provided by the European Commission.

We will always try to resolve any disagreements with the customer regarding existing contracts amicably. However, we would like to point out that we are not obliged to participate in any consumer arbitration proceedings (according to VSBG) and unfortunately do not offer our customers the participation in such proceedings.
