ORTLIEB Manufacturer's Warranty for End Customers – 5 Years
This voluntary manufacturer's warranty ("Warranty") grants additional rights and does not affect the statutory warranty rights against the seller. The exercise of statutory rights is free of charge and independent of this Warranty.
Warrantor is ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH, Rainstraße 6, 91560 Heilsbronn, Germany ("ORTLIEB"), email: customerservice@ortlieb.de.
1. Subject matter and scope of the Warranty
ORTLIEB warrants that the product is free from material and workmanship defects under normal use. The Warranty applies worldwide to ORTLIEB products purchased from authorized retailers or online dealers or directly from the ORTLIEB web shop. It is limited to the first purchaser and is not transferable.
2. Warranty period
The warranty period is 5 years from the date of first purchase from a retailer or online dealer or directly from ORTLIEB by the end customer. The end customer is the customer who first purchased the ORTLIEB product for their own use — not for resale — from a retailer or online dealer or directly from the ORTLIEB web shop. The invoice or delivery date of the first purchase is decisive. Proof is provided exclusively by the purchase receipt or invoice. A repair or replacement does not extend or renew the warranty period; the date of the first delivery remains decisive.
3. Scope of warranty performance
In the event of a warranty claim, ORTLIEB will, free of charge:
- repair the product itself; or
- replace the product with an equivalent product if repair is impossible or uneconomical.
No further claims arise from this Warranty. Statutory claims remain unaffected.
4. Exclusions
The Warranty does not cover in particular:
- normal wear and age-related changes (e.g., wear of surfaces, zippers, buckles),
- damage resulting from improper use, overloading, or failure to observe assembly/care instructions,
- damage due to third-party interventions, modifications, or the use of non-approved spare parts/accessories,
- damage due to improper transport, storage, cleaning, or care,
- chafing marks, holes, and tears caused by the user's own fault.
These exclusions apply exclusively to this Warranty. Statutory rights for defects remain unaffected.
5. Making a warranty claim
The first point of contact in warranty cases is generally the retailer or online dealer with whom the purchase contract was concluded. A direct claim to ORTLIEB is possible at any time and is not dependent on prior involvement of the dealer. To make a claim, please provide:
- a brief description of the defect and, if possible, meaningful photos,
- the product designation (and any identification/serial information),
- a copy of the proof of purchase (invoice/delivery note showing the date of first delivery),
- your sender/contact details for queries and return shipment.
ORTLIEB will confirm receipt and inform you about the further process. Processing will take place within a reasonable period after receipt of the complete documents. Contact for warranty processing: customerservice@ortlieb.de
6. Transport and shipping costs
Within the European Union, ORTLIEB bears the reasonable outbound and return shipping costs of the warranty processing. Outside the EU, ORTLIEB will assume the costs upon prior written approval. Please contact us before dispatch and await the return instructions. Unapproved chargeable express or special services will not be reimbursed.
7. Applicable law
This Warranty is governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
In the case of a service, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.
In the case of a purchase contract, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together, or from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH, Rainstraße 6, 91560 Heilsbronn, e-mail: deinservice@ortlieb.com, telephone: +49 (0)9872-800-0) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at ortlieb.com/pages/return. If you use this online function, we will send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay, including information on the content of the withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.
In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of the revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of the withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment.
In the case of a purchase contract, we may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that the goods have been returned, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us (ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH, Retourenabteilung, Rainstraße 6, 91560 Heilsbronn) immediately and in any case no later than within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. We will bear the costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to your handling the goods in a way that is not necessary for the inspection of the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.
If you have requested that the services should begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you notify us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

B-stock items are fully functional and just as waterproof as regular products, but may have minor cosmetic imperfections. The exact condition may vary by product. Examples include:
- slight signs of use
- minor deviations in print, label or lettering
- minor deviations in colour, finish or texture
To the regular product
Keep your snacks, smartphone or other small equipment items within easy reach at all times during your ride. The practical magnetic lid closure makes child’s play of opening and closing the Fuel Pack with one hand. Inside, the PVC-free bag made of PU-coated nylon fabric features an outer mesh pocket which is easily accessible due to the reinforced bag material. The integrated cable outlet allows you to charge a device on the handlebars during the ride. Any threaded holes already present in the top tube can also be used to fasten the compact bag with screws. In the absence of threads, you can also attach your Fuel Pack flexibly using perforated rubber straps. If you don’t need the perforated straps to attach the Fuel Pack, you can use them for other purposes such as mounting an additional bottle holder on the down tube. If the threaded holes are not in the right place, the optionally available Offset-Plate allows you to mount the Fuel-Pack in a different position.
